IBRAHIM MUSA BADEIRI (DIRECTOR PROCUREMENT)
Ibrahim Musa Badeiri is the current Director, Public Procurement Department, Federal Ministry of Power, Works & Housing (Works & Housing Sector). He was born on 6th June, 1962 in Badeiri Village, Marte Local Government Area of Borno State. He attended University of Maiduguri where he obtained B. Sc (Hons.) Political Science & Administration and Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in 1986 and 1997, respectively. He also obtained Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calabar in 2003.
2. He joined the service of the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1996 as Assistant Chief Supplies Officer on transfer of service from Borno State Government. He has risen to the rank of a substantive Director in 2014.
3. He is a member of several Professional bodies with affiliations to both Local and International Organizations which include Member, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria, Fellow of the Society of Project Management and Development Professionals International and founding member, Procurement Professional Association of Nigeria.
4. In the course of his career, he had attended several courses both within and outside Nigeria. International Courses and Conferences attended includes Diploma in Policy and Management in Petroleum Sector Development, Certificate in Computer, Office Application etc.
5. He is a recipient of several awards, such as Forum of Civil Society Organization in Nigeria, Northern Youth Council in Nigeria (Sir Ahmadu Bello – Sardauna, Platinum Leadership award). He is happily married with children and loves, Community Development and Humanitarian Services.
